Elder Laws of Magick
The Elder Laws of Magick are: no fear, no doubt, and no guilt. These laws can be understood two ways. The first way is obvious. If something will cause you one of those three states of being, do not do it. Carl Jung theorized that fear, doubt, and guilt weighed twice as heavy upon the soul and knowledge removes them (as illustrated below) . MR=K+E^-[2(F+D+G)] Magickal Result = Knowledge + Energy ^ -[2(Fear+Doubt+Guilt)] ***Where 2 is the Hermetic Axiom "as it is above, so should it be below" MR= 1+1^-[2(0+0+0)] >>> MR= 1+1 = 2 The second way is much tougher but more rewarding. You remove those mental states from your soul so that you never feel them again. Anyone who has experienced fear, doubt, and guilt knows how debilitating they can be versus progress.
