Candle Weirdness
Perhaps I'm overpowering my candles, maybe using those deities are just that damned hard hitting, maybe there was a defect in the construction of those candles for the batch I bought from the store; but there has been some weirdness lately with my black over red reversals.
I'm no stranger to these, they are a staple to my defense when I feel someone is messing with my home or sanity. I used to just do a generic "my enemy" on it, draconic runes (all candles and workings are treated with those), some DUME or Uncrossing, and went on my way (or for lesser issues, only lit it while dropping a duce, outhouse rootwork style). They usually burn down cleanly with nothing left, I toss the remainder of the glass, and that's it. But now---
Holy Hell, Inferno!
The first time I attached my life long protector because some serious shyte went down, omg it was an insane candle that I thought was going to catch things on fire. It liquefied in under 24 hrs (normally these can burn 3-5 days) and just black soot. OK with the type of glass I have and the severity of the flame, it's not uncommon to see soot. I'm not one to cry foul with black on a curved glass because I know physics.
Second time, Healing and Reversal-- w/shattered glass.
A healing Ušmgallu and reversal using Mušmahhu and a few draconic runes.
I pulled Mušmahhu in that incarnation in a reading for "who wants to help protect the home?"
(if you can see this, the plug in isn't working on my browser, I got a video of the insane flame that time)
I woke up just in time to snuff it before the glass shattered.
Third time- Serious Healing w/ a warfare like reflection
Healing- Ušumgallu (Kundalini this time) and Ama-Tiamat. Lahmu (magical warfare strategy) stepped forward as the one who was needed to solve the attack on the health of the home.
Again... This time it didn't get to shattering the glass, but apparently it went liquid and lay the flame on the glass in the time for me to sleep. I guess he's not as cranky as the previous two death-bringer style deities since the glass made it out in better shape.
Yes, my altars did move and look pulled apart in the last one. There was water damage along their proper area due to again broken pipes (wet wall is in that room) and rain. So they are down/moved until the repairs are done, done, DONE. Love doing speed, micro workings in the rubble lol.
