Give Your Ills to Mama

Through out ancient human history, the ocean has housed our deities. The eldest of cultures has it as our mother or the blood of our mother (we find this in science as the evolutionary theory that all life began in the sea). It eventually went from our mother to powerful gods to demons to a conduit for the mighty dead. As humans we have always had a deep fascination and love for the sea even as modern societies forgot the spiritual connections. The Surfrider Foundation is great for recognizing our origins in the ocean by calling her Mom still during their fund raising events like “Music for Our Mother Ocean.” It was one of the reasons why I got into supporting them to be honest. If you revere the ocean, or water, as our mother still and return to her when you have a problem then you can release your pains to her just like you would a human mother. Water has several meanings depending on who you speak to and what era you look at. I tend to work from a shamanistic perspective as we...

Automatic Artist

There are many channeling techniques in the psychic gift basket. Some people are innately skilled with scrying, others with mediumship. I am going to talk a little bit about Automatic Art. You may have heard about Automatic Writing (where the person channels through writing), this is similar. In Automatic Art I channel messages through art. I use this in a variety of ways: - Channel a Psychological Problem : I talk to someone who is experiencing an issue. I use my gift of getting people to surrender their vulnerabilities to me to dredge out what the root problem is. Then I start seeing an image through the connection that is established. I will then create and interpret the piece. - Channel the Self : Much like the above, it requires digging into a root, making an image, then interpretation. This is where I connect with a part of me and ask a question, draw an image, then interpret the answer. (If you do this with automatic writing it looks like a schizophrenic piece with two differ...

Lost

After losing a medium sized friend circle of strong feminine energy women I have found myself in a slow slide into depression. I look for that strength in me but I hear the voices of the past (records if you have read my blog on that) tell me how much it's not there, no one cares, nothing I do matters, etc. I don't find that strength unless I'm backed into a corner and have to defend myself, then much like the days I had the PTSD black outs I snap into aggression mode and gain a backbone. If I can do it then I should be able to do it every day, all the time-- but how. I used to feel content daily, strong and happy. I had a quiet and healing life. I knew it was getting time to get back to the job I was put here for and it's a bitch. I also knew I was not healed enough for it. But I'll be damned if my friends didn't up and disappear over some superficial bs. It was not too long after deciding to try to kill myself via starving myself to make a point to the medica...

Elder Laws of Magick

The Elder Laws of Magick are: no fear, no doubt, and no guilt. These laws can be understood two ways. The first way is obvious. If something will cause you one of those three states of being, do not do it. Carl Jung theorized that fear, doubt, and guilt weighed twice as heavy upon the soul and knowledge removes them (as illustrated below) . MR=K+E^-[2(F+D+G)] Magickal Result = Knowledge + Energy ^ -[2(Fear+Doubt+Guilt)]  ***Where 2 is the Hermetic Axiom "as it is above, so should it be below" MR= 1+1^-[2(0+0+0)] >>> MR= 1+1 = 2 The second way is much tougher but more rewarding. You remove those mental states from your soul so that you never feel them again. Anyone who has experienced fear, doubt, and guilt knows how debilitating they can be versus progress. Even in something as simple as getting out of bed when you are feeling unwell can be affected by fear and doubt. Or the pain of guilt driving a girl to starve herself because she does not look...

A Call for Unity

In light of the recent attack on Paris and the media response I have decided to finally get around to writing this article. I wanted to discuss what I observed during a "social experiment" during the Autumn Equinox, but I will be expanding into the social media response to the Parisian attacks since they are one in the same really. Around August I noticed that the Equinox, Eid, and Yom Kippur were going to land at the same time. Then I realized that a large portion, if not majority, of people were going to be praying/meditating at the same time. I felt this was going to be an opportune time to try to get us all to focus on one goal; peace and unity. I tried to speak with the authority of my Universalist ordination to get all in those groups to pray for all humanity to come together no matter of creed, for those who are starving, without family, without homes, those who are suffering, to try to join together to help stop conflicts and wars. People who believe in the power of ...

Importance of Closure

I've lived through my life without people apologizing to me or getting much closure for past events. I pretty much had built up enough ego around it that I felt that I did not need it. After a few events I found that I was wrong in that regard. I tried to find closure for myself through meditation and what people consider mindful acts. I decided that emotionally I was fine and that I did not need to hear "sorry" from any one who injured me in the past. I worked hard to heal myself on my own. I was successful; to a degree. I could live as a well adjusted adult and seem like I had not lived through the hell of being tortured despite carrying the scars. I did not harbor the active hate or resentment anymore. To a psychologist I would be considered cured. There always felt like there was something missing. A few years ago an ex had come back into my life and apologized to me for how my life went since he left me. He did something that became a common theme in my life, lef...

I'm Done, Just Done...

I would have loved you in every definition of the word. From the purest heart's love to the cosmic, spiritual, soul entwining love. You seemed different, you were not like the other men here; yet here we stand. Over the past seven months I've over looked 4 or 5 incidents that pointed towards you were scoping other women. I was upset but didn't make a deal because you didn't claim me. But after all of this marriage talk and monogamous promises I held you to a higher standard. Heathens may have different ethics and far fewer spiritual laws, but we have a strict adherence to oaths. For example I have a death pact with a dear friend of mine, we vowed to die in each other's presence (attend each other's assisted suicide or die fighting side by side) which is a more sacred vow than even marriage since it is the last act you will ever do. We don't take promises lightly. I made the promise of monogamy just as serious. Apparently you didn't since you joined a si...
