Gnosis
Gnosis (enlightenment) is the process
of gaining knowledge (Daath) and tempering it with experience
(wisdom). This process is unique to the individual and there is no
one way to get there. It is about the journey not the end result.
I have been annoyed much lately by people who fancy themselves enlightened. They sit there on a moral high horse, acting holier than thou and spit the same drivel John Q Public says. It's nothing new and wondrous, it's the same crap that's pushed into our heads from a young age. These same people say they are open-minded and tolerant, but when faced with an opposing view point, especially from someone who started with their ideals and proved them wrong, they become morally superior and claim this person to be an idiot and needing to become enlightened.
I get everything from “you need to study”, “you need to take up my morality”, “you need knowledge”, “you don't have the ability to know”... I think in my case I know too much. I can't just sit there and blindly accept things or say something is spiritual when it's something that's explainable via physical means. I know the world doesn't work the way the enlightened try to make it out to work. I've put enough study and practical testing to almost fully debunk the claims.
For instance, a lot of the things others call the nightmare attacking me IN REALITY is merely my sleeping disorder nothing more. Hell everything attributed to the nightmare, vampire, and any other night visiting being, is due to the sleeping disorder and treatable. Instead so called enlightened people scare the kids with the sleeping disorder and try to get them to guard themselves spiritually and ignore scientific proof and the danger provoked by not treating it. Which is truly enlightenment?
I am coming to believe that enlightenment is just a catch all phrase for shifting your world view. Those who start out aggressive and "evil" to switch to all light/good and peaceful, they call themselves enlightened.... What of those who start out with the enlightened view point and find it all bunk and go to the "dark side" or walk a line btwn the two? Would they not feel themselves enlightened as well?
Taking from my previous entry about soul origin, would not those from the chaos energy currents be enlightened when they join with that line of thinking/life joining with it?
Gnosis
Through my journey I've come to find that there are several paths to take to achieve gnosis (or enlightenment). The typical most common one is through the peace, love, light, etc spectrum. I started with that, the oneness with everything, seeking what is advertised as balance, favoured healing over destruction, etc.
Over time I found that it felt wrong, even abhorrent to the point where I was repelled from the idea of those things. I started to add in destruction into my workings and felt more at home. When I awoken my true self I found a source for the conflict I felt. My soul is one of chaos in all forms of the energy, to deny that was to deny myself. But in following it solely I was falling into psychosis with a push from a caustic relationship.
I found that a balanced approach was the best. Utilizing healing in herbs and destructive energies in psychological healing. Working as much death magick as aide magick. Working with both the 93 and 218 currents. Now I feel much more balanced now, able to work with all energies at any point and not just under certain emotional conditions.
For those who say enlightenment only comes if you're a "lightworker" I say phewy on you!
Many feel they have hit enlightenment
when they feel a shift in how they view the world. Most will say they
are enlightened when they fit the mold of how another is when they
felt enlightened. If the latter is the case, I came out of the womb
enlightened and unenlightened when my worldview changed.
There are as many paths to
enlightenment as there are people on the planet. Most people attempt
the Buddhist way and even the love/light version. But there is a path
to the same goal through “darker” methods. One such way is to go
into the abyss to face Chronozon (the dragon of daath), if you pass
the test then you are considered enlightened. A lot of the “darker”
methods rip open your psyche, resulting in a period of psychosis that
you have to fight back from. Not many come back from it, but when you
do there is a feeling of freedom from all that was shed.
My old rants about enlightenment and
